The process of Druzy forming on crystals or within crystals occurs when water brings minerals onto the surface of a crystal. When the water evaporates and the cooling process has occurred the minerals are left behind to form crystals on the top of the rock itself.
Most Druzy can be found as a type of cavity lining within crystals after the above process.
