Each is different, with some displaying particularly beautiful natural terminations and others showing the fascinating stepped surfaces, striations and internal features characteristic of this mineral.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eKunzite is the pink to lilac variety of Spodumene, a lithium aluminium silicate mineral. Its colouring can range from the palest blush pink through soft lavender and lilac to stronger pink-violet tones, with the colour often appearing quite different depending on the direction from which the crystal is viewed.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eThis change in colour intensity is part of Kunzite's natural pleochroism, an optical property where a crystal can display different shades when viewed along different crystallographic directions.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eIn these specimens, the natural crystal structure is particularly lovely. Kunzite commonly forms as elongated, flattened or bladed crystals with distinctive lengthwise striations, and those features can be clearly seen across many of the pieces in this collection.
