This natural phenomenon occurs when Hematite or iron inclusions mix with Amethyst during its formation, creating a stunning display of deep red hues that range from maroon to reddish-brown. Our Red Amethyst, sourced from Brazil, is particularly extraordinary, featuring Calcite inclusions that add to its tranquil and grounding energy. Brazil, a renowned source of Amethyst, occasionally produces pockets of this unique variety. However, deposits capable of forming Red Amethyst in abundance are exceedingly rare, as Hematite and iron typically affect only small sections of crystals rather than entire geodes. Making this piece a little bit more special.
