This large Prehnite tower is a beautiful study in contrast, where raw geological expression meets refined lapidary finish.

One face is left botryoidal, showcasing Prehnite in its natural clustered growth. These rounded formations develop when mineral rich fluids crystallise slowly along a surface, building outward in soft, grape like structures rather than sharp points. It is an honest view into how the stone forms in nature, untouched and textural.

The remaining three sides are polished smooth, creating clean planes that highlight Prehnite’s gentle translucency and internal consistency. This balance between raw and polished gives the piece a strong architectural presence. It feels intentional, composed, and quietly sophisticated, without losing its connection to the Earth.

Prehnite is a calcium aluminium silicate, valued for its soft green tone and stable structure. With a Mohs hardness of around 6 to 6.5, it is well suited to substantial display pieces that feel solid while still visually calming. In tower form, Prehnite naturally draws the eye upward, making it an excellent anchor for a space without overpowering it.
