This Amethyst faceted freeform comes from a private collection and is an exceptional example of Amethyst with striking internal character. The crystal carries beautiful violet tones along with extraordinary wisps that move through the stone like fine currents suspended within the quartz.

Amethyst is a variety of quartz coloured by natural iron content and trace elements that develop during the crystal’s growth deep within the earth.
