This larger Moss Agate Dragon is a spectacular interpretation of the same dramatic winged design as our Pink Opal Dragons, but the change of stone gives this one an entirely different personality. 🐉🌿

Carved with an expansive wingspan and displayed upright on its fitted black stand, the dragon appears almost suspended in flight. The sweeping wings have been carefully shaped with carved lines following their structure, allowing the natural patterns within the Moss Agate to become part of the dragon itself. Its larger size gives the piece considerable presence and makes that impressive wingspan particularly striking.

Moss Agate is a variety of chalcedony, a microcrystalline form of Quartz. Despite its name, it does not contain actual moss. Its characteristic botanical-looking formations are created by mineral inclusions, commonly associated with iron and manganese compounds, which can produce branching, moss-like and landscape-style patterns throughout the translucent chalcedony.

This particular carving displays beautiful deep green and smoky translucent areas with lighter sections and natural formations spreading across the wings. When light passes through the thinner areas of the stone, considerably more of that internal landscape is revealed. It is one of those pieces worth viewing under different lighting because Moss Agate likes to keep a few secrets until you illuminate it.

The dragon carries powerful symbolism across many cultures. Within Chinese tradition, the dragon is an auspicious creature associated with strength, wisdom, protection, prosperity, good fortune and mastery over the forces of nature. Unlike the fire-breathing villain often portrayed in Western mythology, the traditional Chinese dragon has historically been regarded as a powerful and benevolent being.

I know when I think of a dragon I think of power and strength, of something magical, sacred and a protector of all. In most magical and mythical movies or stories you will find a dragon as the protector of something that is treasured or highly sort after.

In the spiritual world Dragons are considered sacred, protective, and powerful and perhaps even the wayshowers of the timeline we are experiencing right now.

The nurturing energy along with the polarity of its fiery breath, the dragon transmutes all that is inorganic and no longer prevalent in our lives. That strong pull for more real and raw in your life is the dragon energy that exists and is felt now on such a strong planetary level.

It's all the same to us as it must be a real and authentic connection with all parties moving with integrity and ethics.

This is the dragon energy we are feeling right now, a parting of the seas and a changing of the guard where everything is being put through a test of transparency and authenticity and if it is aligned then it is easy and if it is not then the connection graciously dissolves in such an organic way.
