Moody, mysterious and beautifully individual, our Mini Black Moonstone Spheres combine deep smoky tones with the soft flashes and internal movement that make Moonstone so captivating.

Black Moonstone is a trade name used for darker varieties of feldspar that can display shades of charcoal, smoky grey, brown and black, often with lighter areas, natural banding and flashes that become visible as the stone is moved through the light. Each sphere has its own patterning, with some appearing darker and more dramatic while others reveal softer silvery, peach or grey tones beneath the surface.

Like other Moonstones, its appeal comes from the way light interacts with the internal feldspar structure, creating an optical glow that can seem to float beneath the polished surface. On these little spheres, turning them in your hand is often the best way to discover what is hiding inside.

Metaphysically, Black Moonstone is associated with intuition, emotional balance, new beginnings and navigating periods of change. My Rainbow Obsidian Mini Spheres looks fantastic. I was drawn to the way it looked a different colour depending on what light or angle you were looking at it with. I lost my dad two years ago and have been struggling with his loss and my grief.
