🔮 Shungite: The Master Cleanser

❤️🧍🏠Root Chakra, overall body and environment

Ancient, carbon-rich and unlike almost anything else in the mineral world, Shungite is a fascinating natural material estimated to have formed around two billion years ago. Found primarily in the Karelia region of Russia, particularly around Lake Onega, its unusual composition and extraordinary age have made it the subject of both scientific research and metaphysical interest.

Shungite is composed largely of carbon, along with varying amounts of silicate minerals and other naturally occurring elements. One of the most interesting discoveries associated with Shungite has been the identification of fullerene-like carbon structures. Fullerenes are unusual arrangements of carbon atoms that can form hollow, cage-like structures, with the best-known example resembling the geometric pattern of a soccer ball.

Shungite has also been studied for its adsorption and filtration properties. Research has investigated its ability to interact with certain contaminants in water, which has contributed to its long history and reputation as a purification material. While this makes Shungite scientifically fascinating, we wouldn't recommend using decorative Shungite pieces to purify drinking water.

These pieces have been shaped into pyramids, a form traditionally associated with stability, focus and directing energy. With its broad base firmly grounded and four sides rising towards a single point, the pyramid beautifully complements Shungite's metaphysical association with grounding and protection.

Metaphysically, Shungite is strongly connected with the Root Chakra and is associated with grounding, stability, energetic protection and feeling secure within your surroundings. It has also become particularly popular for placement around computers, Wi-Fi routers and workspaces because of beliefs surrounding EMF protection. While these energetic properties remain metaphysical rather than established medical claims, many people choose Shungite for exactly this purpose.

Place a Shungite pyramid beside your workspace, near electronic devices, in a bedroom or anywhere you would like to create a strong visual and energetic reminder to stay grounded.

Two billion years in the making, scientifically intriguing and still surrounded by plenty of mystery, Shungite certainly isn't your average black rock. 🖤✨

✨ Shape Meaning

🛕 Pyramid

Pyr -a - mid (fire in the middle)

Pyramids would have to be the most known shape in the world, when you think about the Pyramids in Egypt and how far advanced the Egyptians were even back then when it came to energy.

If you have a connection to Egypt whether in this lifetime or a past one, you most likely have a crystal pyramid of some form, I know I have several.

Not only are they a lovely piece to accentuate your home but they are also a great tool for drawing off any energy blocks you or another has within the chakras or subtle bodies.

Pyramids amplify energy with a directional force out through their apex which enhances their focus wherever they are directed making these powerful healers.

Another reason why so many Orgonites are created using this shape.

It has been said that the sheer nature of this shape amplifies the energy of the crystal by double.

My Rainbow Obsidian Mini Spheres looks fantastic

My Rainbow Obsidian Mini Spheres looks fantastic. I was drawn to the way it looked a different colour depending on what light or angle you were looking at it with. I lost my dad two years ago and have been struggling with his loss and my grief. So when I read "If you’re heart is feeling a little heavy from grief, break ups or anything that brings sadness, Rainbow Obsidian brings in its Rainbow light as guidance through this process." So basically any help that I could get through this process I am going to take. I am looking forward to working with this crystal.

These are too cute! I just had to buy more 😉. I put one little guy next to one of my favourite skulls and I could literally feel the glow from my skull (it's like he has his own little muse beside him hehe). I'm going to pair these adorable little guys up with all of my skulls, they're so cute together ❤️ 😍
