These Rainbow Fluorite pendulums were created during our time in China, where Niome and I personally hand selected the crystals used within the collection. We chose each piece for its colour, natural banding and overall quality before selecting the design direction and silver-toned wrapping that would complement the Fluorite without overwhelming it.

Each pendulum was then professionally hand wrapped by a skilled artisan specialising in precision pendulum craftsmanship, with careful attention given to balance, alignment and weight distribution.

Rainbow Fluorite is particularly beautiful in this form. Layers of purple, green and softer translucent Fluorite move through the polished crystal, creating natural bands and changes in colour that become more noticeable as the pendulum is turned and viewed from different angles. No two will ever be exactly alike.

Fluorite itself is calcium fluoride, a mineral particularly well known for its extraordinary range of colours and distinctive colour zoning. Different colours can develop within the same crystal during separate stages of growth, influenced by trace elements, structural defects and changing conditions within the mineral-forming environment. The result is the layered appearance that makes Rainbow Fluorite so visually fascinating.

Pendulum work relies heavily on balance and free movement, which is why the construction of these pieces was just as important to us as the crystal itself. The wrapping securely holds the Fluorite while allowing the pendulum to hang naturally and respond smoothly during use.

Metaphysically, Rainbow Fluorite is traditionally associated with mental clarity, focus, energetic organisation and bringing order to scattered thoughts. Its combination of colours also gives it broader chakra associations, particularly the Third Eye and Heart Chakras, making it popular for meditation, intuitive work and moments when a clearer perspective is needed.

🔮 How To Use A Pendulum

Pendulums are commonly used for intuitive guidance, meditation, and energetic focus. Begin by holding the chain comfortably between your fingers, allowing the pendulum to hang freely and become still. Before use, many people like to clear the pendulum by holding it within their energetic field and setting a spoken intention that it release any previous energy and work only in alignment with the highest good of all.

Taking a quiet moment to connect the pendulum into your heart space can help strengthen that sense of alignment. You may wish to ask that it attune to your energy field and provide the clearest and highest answers available to you during your session. Calm focus, openness, and clear intention are often considered more important than trying to force movement or specific outcomes.

Before asking questions, many people establish how the pendulum will communicate with them. This is often done by requesting that the pendulum show a “yes”, a “no”, and an “unclear” or “neutral” response. For some, a clockwise swing may represent yes and an anti-clockwise swing may represent no, while others may receive forward-and-back or side-to-side movements instead. The directional response is personal to the user and can be consciously set through intention before beginning.
