This beautiful Winged Dragon Turtle has been carved from a lighter variety of Golden Healer Quartz, with soft honey-gold colouring, cloudy natural inclusions and translucent areas that allow the light to travel through the carving. Its wings are particularly prominent, sweeping upwards from the shell and giving this traditional symbol of prosperity a slightly different character.

The Dragon Turtle, known as Longgui, brings together the symbolism of two important creatures in Chinese culture. The Dragon represents strength, success, good fortune and overcoming obstacles, while the Turtle is associated with longevity, wisdom, stability and protection.
