This elegant Nanhong Agate necklace has been thoughtfully designed around a hand selected Nanhong Agate pendant, chosen for its natural beauty, exceptional craftsmanship and meaningful symbolism.

This particular pendant displays soft translucent tones with warm natural red inclusions that flow gracefully through the carving, giving it a gentle warmth and ensuring no two pieces are ever alike. Every pendant in this collection was personally selected by us, with each necklace individually designed to complement the unique character of its carving.

One of the features that first drew us to these pendants is the intricate carving found on the reverse. Delicate bamboo sits alongside beautifully carved floral motifs, each carrying a long history of symbolism in Chinese culture. Bamboo has long represented resilience, integrity and steady growth, while flowers are often associated with renewal, beauty and prosperity. Together, these elements create a design that is both meaningful and timeless.

The necklace has been strung with smooth frosted Nanhong Agate beads, complemented by polished Nanhong Agate accent beads and decorative spacers. Using Nanhong Agate throughout the design creates a wonderful sense of harmony, allowing the pendant and necklace to become one complete piece.

Nanhong Agate has been prized in China for thousands of years and is regarded as one of the country's most historically significant ornamental stones. Today, the finest material is sourced almost exclusively from the Liangshan region of Sichuan Province, where it is admired for its rich natural reds, beautiful translucency and exceptionally fine texture. As supplies of premium material have become increasingly limited, high quality Nanhong Agate has become highly sought after by collectors and jewellery artisans around the world.

Lovely bracelet

Lovely bracelet. As expected, mine varies from the one pictured with different colour arrangement. I bought the small size as per recommendedin the size chart and it is perfect. It comes on a transparent elasticised thread. The stones are faceted so catch the light. The green in the bracelet matches a ring I have so very happy with purchase. I will be careful to monitor the stretchy thread as previously I have found over time they can start to ‘perish’ and can break when over stretched to get on or off. My other bracelet lasted 10 years before this happened.
