๐Ÿ”ฎ Amethyst: The Celestial Alchemist

๐Ÿ’œ ๐Ÿ’™ Crown Chakra, Third Eye Chakra

This Amethyst faceted freeform comes from a private collection and is an exceptional example of Amethyst with striking internal character. The crystal carries beautiful violet tones along with extraordinary wisps that move through the stone like fine currents suspended within the quartz.

Amethyst is a variety of quartz coloured by natural iron content and trace elements that develop during the crystalโ€™s growth deep within the earth. The colour can range from soft lavender to deeper violet shades depending on the conditions present during formation. In this piece the clarity of the quartz allows the internal structures to be seen clearly, giving the crystal depth and movement when viewed from different angles.

The most remarkable feature of this specimen is the network of wisps running through the crystal. These delicate internal formations appear almost like electrical currents moving through the quartz. As light passes through the faceted surfaces, the wisps become even more pronounced, creating a sense of energy and flow inside the stone.

The faceted freeform cut has been shaped to enhance both the clarity and the internal movement within the crystal. The polished faces allow light to enter from multiple angles, revealing different layers of structure and making the wisps visible from different perspectives.

The energetic signature of Amethyst is widely associated with clarity of thought, calm awareness, and emotional balance. It is often chosen by those who want to create a more peaceful and centred environment while maintaining mental focus.

People who are drawn to Amethyst pieces like this are often collectors or those who appreciate crystals with strong internal landscapes. The visible wisps give the piece a distinct personality, making it a crystal that invites closer observation.

Placement works well on a desk, shelf, or display area where light can move through the crystal and highlight its internal features. Many collectors enjoy placing pieces like this where they can easily be turned and viewed from different angles to appreciate the movement within the stone.

This faceted Amethyst freeform from a private collection is a captivating specimen. With its extraordinary wisps that resemble flowing currents inside the crystal, it offers both geological intrigue and a striking display presence.

โœจ Shape Meaning

๐ŸŒ โœจ Unique & Collectible โœจ๐ŸŒ

For Collectors of rare and unique crystals and for anyone that likes beautiful pieces around the home to add to the beauty and energy of your space.

Niome and I have been delving deeper and deeper into this part of our business for our own pleasure and collection but also for you to add to yours.

We spend countless hours developing relationships and connections with all our suppliers who are aligned with our love for all things crystal and through this process we have been able to acquire some amazing, beautiful pieces.

For us, collectible crystals are not an outlay but rather an investment. Whether the investment is for staging and uplevelling your homes energy, your energy and your homes dรฉcor or you see the value within a piece itself.

A piece that you may see today for a certain price may be a completely different price in 5-10 yearsโ€™ time as everything comes to an end at some point, even certain varieties of crystals. This has been said to both Niome and myself from various friends within the industry and we have taken note.

Then there are crystals that have a delicate structure like Scolecite with their acicular fine needles shooting out from their matrix. Such delicate specimens and when you think about first the care within the handling thatโ€™s gone into first mining them, to then shipping them all around the world, my hat goes off to them.

The pieces we have in stock are pieces that truly have been cared for through all the processes it took for them to reach us.

Here are a few things to consider and even research when looking at collectible crystals for yourself -

โœจ The size of a certain crystal can be a factor as to whether itโ€™s considered a collectible piece and can vary depending on the crystal type.

โœจ larger pieces have been around for a lot longer so to find a larger piece in a specific crystal can be an amazing investment. While smaller crystals depending on the stone itself might be of the rarer variety or the quality is outstanding, therefore itโ€™s amazing it was even found.

โœจ If it is a fragile and delicate crystal and has not sustained any damage or minor damage.

โœจ Quality of course comes into it as you can have some amazing fluorite and then you have some beautiful gem like Fluorite which is quite rare, especially Blue Fluorite

โœจ Specific crystals formed and still on their matrix opposed to polished and carved pieces etc of the same crystal. This can be the game changer between an incredible piece and a collectible piece.

In the end it comes down to what you are drawn too and what is drawn to you. The bonus is when you buy a collectible crystal it becomes a physical investment and will only grow in value in the years to come.

What will your next investment be?
