Clam Fossils (Bivalve Molluscs) – Root Chakra, Earth Star Chakra
These amazing prehistoric Bivalve Molluscs date all the way back to the Jurassic period about 150 million years old when they found in Madagascar.
These clams consist of 2 parts called valves that are attached by a hinge ligament which open and close the 2 muscles attached on the inside of the shells.
The visible external growth rings accumulate as the Clam gets older and then they were trapped in time for millions of years to be found recently.
These fossils are connected to your lower chakras and the earth and ocean which brings in a calming grounding effect in times of distress.

Fossils
Fossils are life forms of either plants or animals that have been captured within an impression and preserved usually within the sedimentary rocks. Another type of fossil is resin fossilization where insects and plants are embedded within amber.
Most fossils are just casings or cavities of what was, and the soft parts of the animals and plants are rarely preserved due to certain salts and minerals breaking down the organic matter within.
Now another type of fossil can be completely replaced by an imprint or impression of the original shell, animal or plant within sedimentary rock or hard rock such as petrified wood.
Lastly a process called mineralization, is where an entire cavity can be completely replaced meaning if it was a shell, it would have completely dissolved. Through this process certain acids and solutions penetrate the cavity and form a new matrix within the cavity creating a 3D version of the shell itself.
