Some carvings appeal to the serious collector. Others appeal to the child within us that still gets excited when something is simply too cute to ignore. This delightful Labubu head carving managed to capture both.

As Labubu collectors ourselves, this carving was always going to catch our attention. During our time in China, Niome and I made a special visit to Pop Land and quickly found ourselves swept up in the fun, creativity and excitement surrounding these quirky little characters. Seeing a Labubu carved from beautiful Himalayan Quartz felt like the perfect meeting of two worlds we genuinely love.

The artist has beautifully captured the character's playful personality. From the oversized eyes and signature ears to that mischievous grin, every detail feels instantly recognisable and full of charm.

Niome and I were immediately drawn to the expression. Those oversized eyes, mischievous grin and distinctive ears perfectly capture the cheeky personality that collectors have come to love. There is a sense that this little fellow is always up to something, yet somehow remains completely impossible to resist.

The Himalayan Quartz itself is beautiful. Displaying excellent clarity and transparency, the crystal allows light to move effortlessly through the carving, highlighting every detail created by the artist. My Rainbow Obsidian Mini Spheres looks fantastic. I was drawn to the way it looked a different colour depending on what light or angle you were looking at it with. I lost my dad two years ago and have been struggling with his loss and my grief. So when I read "If you’re heart is feeling a little heavy from grief, break ups or anything that brings sadness, Rainbow Obsidian brings in its Rainbow light as guidance through this process."
