A comfortable bracelet starts with the right measurement. Here’s how to find yours.

Measure your wrist

How to measure your wrist: wrap string or ribbon comfortably around your wrist, pinch where the ends meet, hold that point while measuring against a ruler, then add 1 cm for bracelet fit.

1. Wrap it around your wrist

Use a piece of string or ribbon. Wrap it around the wrist where you like your bracelet to sit, resting comfortably against your skin without pulling it tight.

2. Pinch, then measure

Pinch the point where the end meets the rest of the string. Keep hold of that point as you remove it, then lay the string straight along a ruler. Measure from 0 to the point you are holding.

3. Add 1 cm

Add 1 cm to your wrist measurement as a starting allowance for a comfortable fit. Compare the result with the bracelet size in the product listing.

Your wrist measurement + 1 cm

= your suggested bracelet size

Example: a 17.5 cm wrist + 1 cm = 18.5 cm, which matches our Small bracelet size.

These are bracelet sizes, so add your 1 cm allowance to your wrist measurement before choosing. Always check the individual product listing, as some bracelets have their own stated measurements.

Getting the fit right

  • Bead size matters. Larger beads and chunkier designs can feel different from smaller beads, even when the stated bracelet size is the same.
  • Comfort is personal. The 1 cm allowance is a guide. Your preferred fit, bead size and bracelet style can all affect your choice.
  • Between sizes? Send us your wrist measurement and the bracelet you are considering so we can help you choose.
  • Need another size? Contact us before ordering to ask what is possible for that particular bracelet.

A little care for your bracelet

  • Roll an elastic bracelet gently over your hand rather than pulling it wide apart.
  • Remove it before showering, swimming, cleaning or exercising, and keep it away from perfume, lotions and other chemicals.
  • If the elastic becomes loose or frayed, stop wearing the bracelet and contact us about suitable restringing options.
