These exceptional Brazilian Smoky Quartz generators were chosen for one particularly impressive reason: their clarity.

Each piece has remarkable transparency, allowing you to see deeply into the Quartz rather than being met with the heavier opacity often associated with Smoky Quartz. Their colouring moves through elegant smoky brown tones while retaining beautifully clear sections, creating depth without concealing the internal world of the crystal.

Smoky Quartz is a naturally coloured variety of Quartz, composed of silicon dioxide (SiO₂). Its characteristic smoky colouring develops when naturally occurring irradiation interacts with aluminium-related centres within the Quartz crystal structure. The result can range from the palest smoky tint through to almost black Morion.

These particular pieces sit beautifully at the clearer end of that spectrum.

Inside each generator are natural internal veils, fractures and crystalline features that interact spectacularly with light. Many of these produce vivid rainbows, appearing and disappearing as the generator is viewed from different angles. Because the surrounding Quartz is so transparent, these internal features can be seen with exceptional definition, giving each piece its own completely individual landscape.

The generators have been polished into strong geometric forms with defined points, while retaining the natural internal characteristics of the Brazilian Quartz. Their substantial proportions combined with such impressive clarity make them particularly striking display pieces.

✨ The size of a certain crystal can be a factor as to whether it’s considered a collectible piece and can vary depending on the crystal type.

✨ larger pieces have been around for a lot longer so to find a larger piece in a specific crystal can be an amazing investment. While smaller crystals depending on the stone itself might be of the rarer variety or the quality is outstanding, therefore it’s amazing it was even found.

✨ If it is a fragile and delicate crystal and has not sustained any damage or minor damage.

✨ Quality of course comes into it as you can have some amazing fluorite and then you have some beautiful gem like Fluorite which is quite rare, especially Blue Fluorite

✨ Specific crystals formed and still on their matrix opposed to polished and carved pieces etc of the same crystal. This can be the game changer between an incredible piece and a collectible piece.
