🔮 Muonionalusta Meteorite: A Celestial Relic With A Terrestrial Home
💚💜🩵 Heart Chakra, Crown Chakra, Throat Chakra
A little piece of outer space carried by a little spaceman. ☄️👨🚀
These incredibly cool pendants feature genuine Muonionalusta Meteorite set into the helmet of a detailed spaceman design, creating a piece of jewellery with a story that quite literally begins beyond Earth.
The meteorite forms the large circular face of the helmet, allowing its distinctive metallic structure to become the focal point of the pendant. Around it, the spaceman has been finished in silver titanium with gold titanium detailing, including tiny gold horns, a scarf and star accent. Even the reverse has been given attention, with a miniature astronaut-style life-support pack and small mechanical details completing the design.
Each pendant comes with a silver titanium necklace.
Muonionalusta is an iron meteorite discovered in northern Sweden, above the Arctic Circle, and is considered one of the oldest meteorites found on Earth. Scientists estimate the meteorite itself formed approximately 4.5 billion years ago, during the very early formation of our Solar System.
One of the most fascinating characteristics of Muonionalusta is its internal crystalline structure. When properly prepared and etched, intersecting bands known as the Widmanstätten pattern can become visible. These structures formed as iron and nickel cooled extraordinarily slowly within the parent body in space over immense periods of time, producing patterns that cannot be recreated through ordinary cooling processes on Earth.
Because the meteorite is natural, every piece will display its own individual patterning and character, making each spaceman slightly different.
Metaphysically, meteorites are traditionally associated with transformation, expansion, new perspectives and our connection to something far greater than ourselves. There is something particularly fitting about wearing one inside the helmet of a tiny spaceman. ✨
Fun, quirky and backed by some seriously impressive cosmic history, these are one of those pieces that appeal equally to meteorite collectors, space lovers and anyone who simply wants jewellery that starts a conversation.
After all, how often can you say you're wearing something around 4.5 billion years old? ☄️👨🚀✨
