This beautiful Amazonite sphere showcases the distinctive blue-green colouring that makes this mineral so instantly recognisable. Natural variations move throughout the stone, with areas of aqua, turquoise-green, soft blue and creamy white creating an individual pattern across every part of the polished surface.

Amazonite is a variety of microcline feldspar, a potassium-rich feldspar mineral. Its characteristic blue-green colour is linked to trace amounts of lead and water within the crystal structure, creating colours that can range from pale greenish blue through to stronger turquoise and deeper blue-green.
