These little Green Aventurine Wolf Heads may be small, but they certainly haven't been given a timid personality. Each has been carved with pointed ears, defined facial detail and contrasting polished Obsidian eyes that give the wolves their wonderfully alert expression.

Green Aventurine is a variety of Quartz, typically coloured by microscopic mineral inclusions, most commonly green fuchsite mica. These inclusions can also produce the subtle shimmering effect known as aventurescence, although its visibility varies naturally from piece to piece.

The addition of Obsidian eyes is a clever little detail. Against the fresh green colouring of the Aventurine, the glossy black eyes immediately draw attention to the wolf's face and add an extra layer of symbolism to the carving.

Spiritually, the wolf is associated with instinct, intelligence, loyalty, independence and trusting your inner guidance. Wolves understand both worlds beautifully: the strength of the pack and the confidence required to stand independently when necessary. It represents loyalty, connection with strong communication to be able to be in such a community of many like a pack. Wolves travel, hunt and live in packs and it makes me wonder if their intuition is completely aligned and Intune with all members of their pack. Is this a type of pack mind mentality where they all are tuned into to the same data on such a deeper higher level that each one knows what the other is doing. I have seen this actualised within the wolf community especially when they are hunting and its quite amazing to witness.

Niome and I are drawn to wolves for their loyalty, protective nature and their nurturing caring energy that they have for one another. When one is safe all are safe, and I believe it is such a powerful analogy to have in life really. I mean if everyone on the planet treated each other like we were in the same pack then we would all live and work together in peace rather than war.
