Tiny spheres with an incredible amount of colour packed inside, our Mini Rainbow Fluorite Spheres showcase the beautiful natural zoning that makes Fluorite such a fascinating mineral.

Rainbow Fluorite can display layers and bands of purple, violet, green, blue-green and near-colourless Fluorite, sometimes all within a single little sphere. These colours developed as the crystal grew, with changes in trace elements, structural defects and conditions within the mineral-forming environment contributing to the different colour zones we see today.

Polishing Fluorite into a sphere gives us a completely different way to appreciate this growth. Bands curve around the surface, colours overlap and translucent areas allow you to look deeper into the stone. Each sphere has its own arrangement of zoning, internal features and colour, so no two will ever be quite the same.

Fluorite itself is calcium fluoride and belongs to the cubic crystal system. It is famous amongst mineral collectors for its extraordinary range of colours and crystal habits, making it one of those minerals that can look remarkably different from one specimen to another.

Metaphysically, Rainbow Fluorite is traditionally associated with clarity, focus, organisation and bringing order to scattered thoughts. Purple Fluorite is particularly connected with intuition and the Third Eye Chakra, while green tones are associated with harmony, emotional balance and the Heart Chakra.

Small enough for crystal grids, bowls, little displays or simply collecting a few different colour combinations, these Mini Rainbow Fluorite Spheres may be tiny, but nature has certainly not been stingy with the detail. 💜💚✨

There is something about a beautifully polished sphere that allows you to appreciate a crystal from every angle.

Unlike a point or freeform, a sphere has no obvious front or back. Its rounded form allows the natural patterns, banding, inclusions, colour changes and internal features of the stone to continue around the entire piece, often revealing something completely different each time it is turned.

For collectors, spheres can be an incredible way to showcase the geology of a material. Highly included Quartz can become a miniature landscape, Fluorite can reveal layers of colour and zoning, while Agates and Jaspers can display patterns that wrap continuously around the stone.

The sphere itself has been used symbolically across many cultures, representing wholeness, unity, harmony and completeness due to its continuous form.

Metaphysically, crystal spheres are traditionally believed to radiate their energy evenly in all directions, making them popular for placing within a room, meditation space or crystal display. Smaller spheres can also be held comfortably in the palm during meditation or quiet reflection.

My Rainbow Obsidian Mini Spheres looks fantastic. I was drawn to the way it looked a different colour depending on what light or angle you were looking at it with. I lost my dad two years ago and have been struggling with his loss and my grief.
