โ˜„๏ธ Sericho Meteorite: The Stone of Perspective and Endurance

Discovered in Kenya, Sericho Meteorite is admired for its striking crystal rich structure and natural extraterrestrial formation. Many people are drawn to meteorites for their connection to perspective, resilience and transformation, carrying energy that feels grounding while also reminding us of the vastness beyond everyday life. Sericho is often associated with endurance, personal evolution and maintaining strength through periods of change.

This wonderfully quirky pendant features genuine Sericho Meteorite set into the window of a rocket ship, and honestly, there probably couldnโ€™t be a more appropriate setting for a piece that actually came from space.

The rocket is finished in contrasting silver and gold titanium, with a silver-toned body, gold nose cone and three curved gold fins. A border of sparkling accents surrounds the meteorite window, drawing your eye straight to the fascinating natural material within.

Sericho is a pallasite meteorite associated with Kenya. Pallasites are among the most visually fascinating meteorites, composed predominantly of an iron-nickel metal matrix containing crystals of olivine. Gem-quality olivine is known as Peridot, which explains the beautiful olive-green, golden and earthy tones that can be seen within Sericho.

The meteorite within this particular pendant displays wonderful natural variation, with darker metallic areas alongside visible golden-green olivine. Rather than simply being decorative, that little window is holding a genuine piece of material with an extraordinary extraterrestrial history.

Sericho became internationally known after large quantities of the meteorite were identified in Kenya in the 2010s, although local people had reportedly encountered the unusually heavy stones in the region for many years before their significance was recognised.

Metaphysically, meteorites are traditionally associated with transformation, expansion, new beginnings and gaining a different perspective, while olivine has long been associated with renewal, confidence and positive change.

Part natural history, part jewellery and part tiny rocket ship, this is one seriously cool way to carry a little piece of space with you. ๐Ÿš€โœจ

๐Ÿ’ Caring for Gold & Silver Titanium Jewellery

To preserve both the Gold Titanium finish and the natural meteorite surfaces, avoid prolonged exposure to moisture, perfumes, chlorine and harsh chemicals. Clean gently with a soft cloth and, if needed, a lightly damp cloth, then dry thoroughly immediately after cleaning. Keeping the pendant dry when not being worn will help maintain the natural beauty of the meteorites over time.
